Sweet Smiles

I wonder if those smiling girls are Chrystal and Sherry.

Is this a real sign in Cornwall??

Some great scat singing if you like it from three local (Maritimes) musicians who do not normally play together.

Very nice lighting on this, Mary! I can only tolerate scat for a short time- but this is certainly good!
Mary MacADNski: Same light next Friday but with a surprise.

This is a wonderful picture, love the backlight here. Maybe yes for the sign in Cornwall, I can hear them say that and yes there is not a good phone signal all over the place, not that I needed one...
Mary MacADNski: Oh, the coincidence with your shot today with my life.

Très jolie composition.
Mary MacADNski: Getting near the end of the day
Yes, I'm sure (about the girls) and maybe (about the Cornwall sign), but...scat singing??? Not sure I've ever heard about it with that name but I did enjoy listening. smile
Mary MacADNski: Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong were all scat singers, a wonderful vocal technique in jazz singing. I do it myself and we witnessed my grandson doing it last week from my persuasion. Remind me some day to tell you my theory.
I couldn't say but I like it.
Mary MacADNski: The photo, the sign or the music? I am guessing the music.

I have never had a problem there!
Mary MacADNski: I am guessing the sign is made up.

The Cornish sign is a nice piece of humour
Mary MacADNski: I thought so too.

It would be nice to think so. I like the backlighting which has picked up their hair nicely.

The sign is not real but I appreciate the sentiment. I was on a boat trip yesterday and was fiddling around with my phone and was "told off" by one of the crew. I did show him that I was tracking the boat by GPS and was interested to see its speed and route between the islands smile
Mary MacADNski: When on the boat on Sunday, my son had the iphone humming with whatever data he wanted at whatever time he needed it.
There has been a variety of these Cornwall signs posted over the years. I am fairly certain they are photoshopped but I would love them to be genuine
Mary MacADNski: I too think the sign is made up. It takes all kinds, eh.

The backlighting is impressive, too, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ray.

I like the flying hairs in the backlight. The sign mentions a problem we know here, too.
Mary MacADNski: I think the phones are a universal problem.
i think the last two sentences could be applicable to most places in the world today. i like the light in the hair of the girls
Mary MacADNski: I think you are right. Thank you.

I like how you have captured the light on the girls' hair.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Anne.
there is a pretty god chance that they are Mary... i like the lines of that boat....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Peter.
Sounds like the names of a couple of dogs smile
Mary MacADNski: Sounds like those girls to me.
