This is my two hundredth post on Shutterchance. I want to thank and say how much I appreciate the great community here. I have several other blogs, one featuring music, that rarely get a comment. Everyone here is so friendly, positive and encouraging. I think I'll stay.

I love this picture, a super way to celebrate your 200th. The simplicity of the colours and the way you've cleverly framed a self-portrait in the window.
Hello Mary, I'm so pleased you're going to stay.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ellie. The shed needs a paint job (and I do too) but it was there with a mirror......waiting to be photographed.
This is such a perfect pic for this milestone, and it really IS nice to meet you. I'm increasingly realizing how important it is to at least see what we all look like, if we can't all meet up. Virtual reality isn't always as real as it needs to be. It's too easy to "make up" what we imagine something/someone to be.
So thanks for the self-portrait!!!
Mary MacADNski: I love your comment. My name is Cuidado on everything else I do on the net. Mary MacADNski is totally made up so I feel so weird being referred to as Mary but what do you do? It's a crazy world. I'm not allowed to put photos of my grandchildren up here because of my son's fears....so I had to feel a little brave to put my photo up. I truly love your comment, Ginnie, because I feel you are really brave and seeing your photo up encouraged me to put mine.
Good idea, good picture as a result, and well done on keeping it up for 200 images posted.
Mary MacADNski: This wasn't planned. It is a photo taken in the winter. I just don't have any other self portrtaits, well, one with a really dirty window.......
Ahahah!! I followed a link from a posting you made on another image takes me to this; taken a year ago on my birthday, I see! Still with snow on the ground! Nice to see you!
Mary MacADNski: The photo was taken on 11 April but posted later. I rarely post a truly current photo. Sometimes it is only a few days old but usually at least a week old.
