I hike every Monday and get to see these three horses each time.  They were all rescued and saved from harm or the slaughterhouse.  They always come over when we walk by and are very curious.

How idyllic, Mary. It makes for a lovely story!

I used to pass a donkey riding my bike to school when I was a kid. It always came to say hello too. It is funny how these inconsequential things can turn into fond memories.
Mary MacADNski: It's true and these guys are one of the highlights of the hike for me.
