In a Park

I believe this might be some type of rhododendron but don't know for sure.  I'm just sharing something pretty....and music of course.

Beautiful flowers, Mary. I don't know what they are called either. smile But they look nice, and you captured them well with your camera smile
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Kay.

I don't know what it is, Mary, but I do know it's not a rhododenron bush, which has rounder clumps of blossoms. We have lots of them in Atlanta.

It kinda reminds me of a butterfly bush, but I don't think it's that either. I wish I were a flower expert, but I'm not! smile
Mary MacADNski: The leaves are what remind me of the rhododendron. It's a mystery.
Lovely capture, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bridge. The bush was large and this is a small piece.

Suby
Mary MacADNski: Simpleton Suby doesn't seem to fit, Sir. You should see my wedding shots.....I'm better at flowers.

nice crop and framing Have great weekend!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Chantal and I hope your weekend is great too.
It's a "Pieris japonica" Common name pearl flower, Lily of the valley Bush. They are native to North America and Asia This picture is better than the one in my gardening book. I just happened to remember seeing it last time I was looking for a hardy shrub to put in a new garden bed.
Mary MacADNski: I knew someone would know what it was. Thanks so much, Aussie. I'd never seen one before and thought it was really striking
j'aime beaucoup
Mary MacADNski: Merci, objectif-P. C'est une fleur tres beau.
Sympa ! I don't know what it is too smile
Mary MacADNski: Someone else knew though. There are some smart people here.
