I'm trying to guess what they are and I have no idea. They almost look like weigela. If so, that is a very artful way to display them.
Mary MacADNski: It is weigelia and I had to put them down for a moment so just stuck them on the old wagon wheel. They're looking very pretty in a vase now.
I love how your photo draws the eye away from the flower to the edges of the photo, then contracts again to the center. Along the route, the eye takes the texture of the wall which suggests also the texture of the plant. Beautifully done.
