Takes me out of the city.
I love the dusk, up-country. If you are watching constantly, then night falls slowly and imperceptably. If you close your eyes for 30 seconds, and then open them, it's clear something dramatic has happened.
Up-country, evenings are invariably spent relaxing outside...it's the best place to be because in-doors is hot and oppressive by comparison. Neighbours will wander by, perhaps taking their buffalo home; seeing you sitting quietly with a beer in your hand and just watching the dusk performance, they will let their animals find their own way, and will visit for a few minutes and just smile and watch the show with you. Life's good!
So gorgeous. I love it.....your must have really enjoyed experiencing this. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: I was very lucky to get out at sunset time two night's in a row. Tomorrow's post is of the next night at a different place. It's a special time of day.
Another beautiful shot. When I see shots like this I'm reminded of how much I miss sunsets over the summer months. We have endless days here with the midnight sun!
Mary MacADNski: The endless suns would be pretty cool too for us who have never experienced it.
