Wow..this is stunning! I like the silhouetts of the birds and the colors are amazing. Well done! ( glad you went into the mudflats)
Mary MacADNski: I have one with the birds on the move but I liked the sun partially behind the clouds on this one.

Thank you, Mary, for getting mud between the toes...this wonderful eruption of colour on my screen tells me it was well worth while.
Mary MacADNski: Toes, ankles and some calves were involved. I got out though...whew!

That one seagull that is coming in for the landing somehow got 'Jonathan' going in me head. Excellent sundown, with those birds coming in to settle - it is not only the colours, there is also atmosphere.
Mary MacADNski: I waited after this shot for several to take off at once. It is a really nice one...in that respect. The atmosphere was incredible and I was in mud to my ankles.
