eeeewwwww!!! Yuck! I dislike flies on flowers. I wish I could reach in (or out) and pluck it off! Nice macro, btw tongue, sorry I got carried away by the fly there.

Mary MacADNski: The fourth photo I put on SC was also a macro of a calendula. I entered it in Sunday's photo meme for macros and it wasn't accepted as a macro.

I love how the center of the flower is still unfolding, Mary. And one thing to say about the fly is that it gives scale to the size of the flower! smile
