I can see why...it is a perfect flower. Evidently not a sunlover, though.
Mary MacADNski: No, this is a black eyed susan, a common weed. It doesn't take much to excite me.

Funny thing!
Atleast half of the beautiful flowers I present on Shutterchance are common weeds...not sure if I could claim they cause my heart to throw a party, but they certainly cause my face to throw a smile. [grin]

I wonder how many of us would have walked past without even noticing, let alone taken a photograph? This is a delight.

It would have done the same for me too Mary. Makes me want to smile as it puts sunshine in my life. Nice capture.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, they do put sunshine in our lives. Being outdoors in nature is so great for the soul.
and a party it is, nice walks you are doing!!
Mary MacADNski: The hikes are through woods and fields, back to woods and end in a long woods road that vehicles don't go on except the occasional tractor. They take about two hours. Heaven it is!
