It seems those stalwart pines have had to deal with some wind. A lovely shot.
Mary MacADNski: This island certainly gets it's share of wind and when it is from the north in the winter, the black spruce do get stunted and wind damaged.

Lovely mute greens, and sparkling leaves in the foreground, make this picture for me, Mary.

Looks like it is an island at high tide only.

The picture also looks great if you crop the top down to the top of the rightmost pine.
Mary MacADNski: A favorite camping spot for partying teens and young adults. My kids certainly spent lots of summer nights there in the past.

I really like the sun reflecting off the water in the far back of the shot. It's a stunning view Mary!
