Is it a protected place? Can you wander around on that moss and get the feel of it under your feet? That's the first thing this photo makes me want to do. smile
Mary MacADNski: This is private land but alongside a public trail. I did exactly what you would like to do. I went in and walked on the thick moss.

Strange coincidence, Mary. This shot and Ginnie's for today, have in common the dominance of the sunlight across the centre of the image.

I think the floor of a conifer forest is often its most interesting feature, and it seems that way to me with this lovely image.
Mary MacADNski: When I get home and have more time I will check out everyone's archive, including Ginnie's.
Gorgeous lighting. What a peaceful feeling looking at this.. must have been very relaxing being here.
Mary MacADNski: It was lovely. I hike every Monday and didn't have a lot of time this day so did the public trail system....and got a ton of chantarelle mushrooms.
Hmmm ! Simple and beautiful, maybe a bit alight though ?
Mary MacADNski: Ya get what ya get from me.

This would be a fun place to play tag except how would you remember with tree was base. LOL I love the shades of green and the patches of sunlight.
Mary MacADNski: Great place to play, for sure. You would have to bring a ribbon to mark base.

Love the light coming throught he trees here Mary. Just look how straight those trees are.
Mary MacADNski: They were very different from the rest as they had been trimmed and nurtured.

Excellent, any moment a knight can come charging out of the backlight.
Mary MacADNski: I wish one would, Louis.

I love the light in this. Nice capture. All the best, Dave.
Mary MacADNski: The light was incredible. I didn't even capture how beautiful it was.

LOL at Helen's remark about playing tag. That's right--which tree is Start! grin

I think the Ewoks would love it here, Mary. As would I. smile It's so bright and airy. Not at all dark and gloomy like so may woods can be.
Mary MacADNski: I love, love, love the woods Ginnie and that's what I'm going to feature this week.
