Back to Summertime

I'm still on my little vacation with a major hitch.  My sister-in-law passed away since I've been here and I'm on my way to her funeral.  I'll be back on the Island tomorrow and back to work.  I got to read comments a couple of times and even to respond once. Thanks for leaving comments even though responses were not timely or not at all.

As with the last image you presented of these large hay-bales, Mary, this one is very pleasing the the eyes of this country boy who now lives in a big city.
Clouds are great, but the surreal "balescape" is a magnet for my eyes.
Mary MacADNski: Glad to take you back to the country, Ray. I'm taking you into the woods for the rest of this week.

I can't tell if your SIL's death was expected or not, Mary, but regardless, death is always a shock to the system. I trust you and yours will be comforted at this time.

The bales of hay truly symbolize the summertime in so many areas of North America. Someone's a happy camper here.
Mary MacADNski: My 55 yr old sister in law had a massive stroke earlier in the week but it is yet undetermined why she died. She had had surgery a couple of weeks ago. I personally know three people since august who have had blood clots after surgery. One was my best friend who luckily was still in hospital so was ok because they treated her immediately. One was a seventeen yr old who just dropped dead and now my sister in law. it is becomming much to common. I keep hearing and hearing the stories.

This sister in law was the wife of my brother who passed away from leukemia when he was 27. They had two small children. Now those children are in their 20's but are taking the loss of their mom very hard. they feel like orphans.
So sorry to hear your news. Again one of my favourite artists and such an appropriate song. Brilliant shot.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Gale. This show was the only one unassigned so I was able to throw it up from my sister's computer.

I am sorry to read of the loss in your family. You go slow here and attend where you have to.

Balescape? New word and sits well. Nice shot - is this the same day as the previous one?
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Louis. This photo was taken the day after the last one.

Yes, back to summertime... I was surrounded with them last summer... I like them a lot.
And I feel really sorry for you and your family Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks Florence, for the sympathy and the comment on the hay bales. Life goes on though, I've learned, and we get stronger for the next tragedy to come our way.
Please accept my condolences, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Red Pen
Nice twins smile I like !
