Nice capture of this cairn, Mary. Where was this taken? It's not natural, is it?
Mary MacADNski: It is a series of stacked stones by a walkway of a Charlottetown waterfront park. It's not natural but was done by an unknown person a couple of years ago. There are several of them, not just this one.

It looks like it is praying.
Mary MacADNski: I think it looks like a praying figure too.
From Mary chained to the sink after a dinner party where for the whole day she was chained to the sink and stove...while doing laundry.

Ohhh. Please tell me more about this, Mary. What is it, who did it, where, etc.?! So many questions, so little time.
Mary MacADNski: These are balanced rocks at a water-front park in Charlottetown. There are quite a few along a walkway at the park and they appeared there overnight a couple of years ago. I don't know if some have fallen or not but there are quite a few that have amazingly stood for all this time. I'm not sure if it's known who did them but I don't think anyone knows. Here's a couple of links from some pro stone stackers:

So much to like about this image, Mary...a couple of things are:
Massive rocks, counterpointed by [relatively] flimsy bridge.
Centred crazy obelisk, counterpointed by the solitary, flimsy milkweed stalk.
Mary MacADNski: I love the milkweed stalk in there too, Ray. It pops right out.

Fascinating, thank you for the websites, to read more about it.
Mary MacADNski: You are welcome. I'm kind of a stone lover and had those in my bookmarks.
It does look like it's praying. I am surprised they don't fall over. Great shot.
Mary MacADNski: Supposedly they've been there for a couple of years.
Well spotted... yes it must be praying. One little flower sprouting between the rocks..
Mary MacADNski: Flowers would be a good thing to pray for.
Strange stonehenge smile
Mary MacADNski: There were lots of these around the boardwalk.
