A muted expressionist-painting kind of an Autumn show here, Mary...and, a bonus line of bullrushes [I love bullrushes] on the shoreline!
Lurvellllllyy!
Mary MacADNski: It is muted from the bright sunshine. I'm going back today and will try another. A bonus will be that more trees should be wearing their fall wardrobe.
Ray has it right. It is a beautiful painting. I did a reflection shot on my http://kulwar.blogspot.com/ blog.
Mary MacADNski: I love you photo on EE. Got to visit it an hour earlier today.

Beautiful colours!
Mary MacADNski: It's a beautiful time of year. Are your trees still colourful?

This is exactly why we love autumn, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Exactly! I'm going here again today and am invited for supper on Wed. to have rainbow trout from this pond. Yum!

Lot of autumn shots on the site today and they are all very good like this one.

The reflection is almost more beautiful than the actual.
Mary MacADNski: Tis the season....Next thing you know there will be snow shots - while you're basking in your summer.

Love the mirror image Mary, lovely autumn shot.
Mary MacADNski: I was there today but it is windier so I got no reflection shots.
The colors are so quiet - was this a result of the lighting or a choice? It works quite nicely smile I like the soft reflection in the water.
Mary MacADNski: This is just the natural lighting. The bright sun washed it out a bit. I like the subdued colours but bright colours would look good too.
Precious, Mary. For my taste, she would have to be a little darker! But the colors gain the photo!

Precioso, Mary. Para mi gusto, debería ser un poco más oscura! Pero los colores se ganan la foto!
Mary MacADNski: That would look good, Jose-Angel,
Beautiful reflections and vivid colurs. Nice shot. All the best, Dave.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Dave. It's a pretty place.
yeah it does look like some painting
Mary MacADNski: I went back there today. The trees around the red one are all in colour and the leaves of the red one have fallen to the ground.
Love the soft colours Mary. My only comment would be it is a bit half and half. I would try cropping the top to lose the sky.
Mary MacADNski: I tend to do the half and half thing and should think more about cropping.
great colours...that red tree in great!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, liam. You're very kind.
Looked at your other Autumn shots. For some reason in the US and Canada the leaves stay on the trees for a lot longer than they do here.
Mary MacADNski: They're going quite rapidly now as we've had some pretty heavy wind. The first of my autumn shots were from a neighbouring province (the mainland) and they were a few weeks ahead of us. I dare say they have no leaves left right now.
