Old House

I got back to the abandoned house site but not on a blue sky day as I had hoped.  Next year maybe, if the house is still standing.

Dramatic angle.
"Welcome! Come and join me", said chaos, who got here first.
Terrific, full colour B&W, Mary. Well done!
Mary MacADNski: In the middle of the winter when I'm not getting out as much, I'll post a few more of this dramatic old structure. Thanks for your constant support, Ray. You're a real pal!

Nice composition, I like that we can see straight through that window frame.
Mary MacADNski: From the other side there is no roof.

Great picture and I like the composition with the diagonal roof line.

Full colour B&W - ray is a card.
Mary MacADNski: He makes me laugh at least once a day. I will show the roof from the other side some day.

Hope for you the house will be there waiting for you, this is a nice capture, wonder how it will look with the blue sky.
Mary MacADNski: I hope so too. It is on the ocean and it is often very windy. I can imagine the house collapsing in the strong wind.

Some sharing - I have read your comment about the bad language thingy. Met that test a couple of times, and everytime I found it weird. I have commented a long one to a fellow blogger who referred to a Mr. Cock. I had to use the name in my reply. Everytime I submit, the site complained about my language. I went through some testing until I found the culprit word and then had to devise a workaround.

What I found most funny was that the blogger could upload the name, yet I couldn't comment using the name.
Mary MacADNski: I thought of one thing. I wrote quite a while back that someone was a little bu**er (insert gg). i understand that it is kind of a swear word in England but it is not at all here. It is an everyday word hear meaning a brat. It was quite a while ago so I don't know why it comes up now IF this is what prompted the message.
Oh! Mary, Personalmente, me gustó más la foto del día 11/10 que ésta. Allí, realmente se transmitía totalmente el sentido del abandono de la casa! wink

Oh! Mary, Personally, I liked plus the photo of the day 11/10 that this one. There, really the sense of the abandonment of the house was transmitted totally! wink
Mary MacADNski: I have many, many photos of this old abandoned house. I will put more up at another time when I have to dig in the archives for a photo. I like the previous one better too.

Tengo muchos, muchas fotos de esta vieja casa abandonada. Pondré más para arriba en otro momento en que tengo que cavar en los archivos para una foto. Tengo gusto el anterior mejor también.
Makes me want to play "Spot the axe murderer" ! Nice shot. All the best, Dave.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Dave. An axe around this site could be fatal to the building. LOL
Sweet photo of this old building.
I especially like the trees. Their presence gives the shot another dimension.
Well done!
Erik
Mary MacADNski: I don't know if you saw this view of the building put up on the 11th. I'll have more shots in the future.:

I have a weakness for this sort of shot. I like the contrast of the neat shingles and the falling apart inside. Fab.
Mary MacADNski: This is quite a building. There isn't a straight line on it. i straightened it with Picasa. I'll show other shots on occasion. I guess you saw the one a week or so back of this same buileing looking quite different.
