Heaven Sent

I hope you're not sick of curvy roads and fall leaves yet.  This beam of light told me where I was - heaven.

I am beginning to wonder if PEI might be some sort of heaven on Earth. [grin]
Mary MacADNski: You finally saw the light. LOL

Thats a rare find. I'm not sure it helps this particular image but a nice capture all the same. The trees are a little flat though
Mary MacADNski: I'm not sure how I would fix the flatness of the trees. I would never ask the sun not to shine. I take what I get, Stan
It will be a long time before I am sick of these shots! I think this is wonderful, and the ray of light is just the icing on the cake. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rosalyn. It's heaven on earth.
Lovely image. You live in a truly beautiful place. All the best, Dave.
Mary MacADNski: And I hang out in the country so it is truly beautiful.

Lovely landscape Mary, the beam of light is an added extra
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Aussie. Heaven on earth.

Good landscape and the light does add to it. I think I would have added a bit more contrast and saturation though to bring out the colours in the trees. Well seen.
Mary MacADNski: I don't use photoshop, Les. It's just a choice to leave things as they actually are - the natural look. I have on occasion to play. This is my only one on SC: http://www.justpictureit.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Picasa_Play/

It was fun to play with but I felt a little uncomfortable putting it up. Strange, I know, and I certainly don't care that anyone else uses manipulation.....just not me.

Then there was light!smile Love how you have captured the gradient of the road, it gives a great perspective.
Mary MacADNski: This is a great hiking spot, Tracy. It's very hilly thus a good leg work out. We love it!

That was a difficult choice, but I will go with Van.

This is another great picture and that beam ... heaven sent. I have said so before, but you are still living on a beautiful island.
Mary MacADNski: I will always go with Van. Yes, this is indeed a beautiful place.
I love the way that shaft of light has picked out that one tree. I will never tire of autumn colours
Mary MacADNski: The leaves are disappearing as we've had a fair amount of wind but ....I have archives.
Mary I just looked at your picture and sighed...indeed this is heaven and don't worry, I have a strong stomac wink let those curves come, life is as a rollercoaster!!
Mary MacADNski: That's a good attitude, Astrid, as indeed, life is a roller coaster.

You live in heaven, I am sure of it. Beautiful picture! I like Ellen Jewell best.
Mary MacADNski: I'll remember this moment and this conversation when it's either minus twenty or has snowed twenty centimeters this winter. I like the Ellen Jewell song too. Only the best music for fellow SCers.
Very nice road ready for a sunny stroll !
Mary MacADNski: It's perfect, Zebigleb. Perfect!
Oh! Really is a nice road to heaven! smile
Mary MacADNski: Gracias, Jose-Angel.
Hay sitios maravillosos en tu entorno para fotografiarlos tan bien como tu lo has hecho.
congratulations. Please take the photo about some fossil.

Mary MacADNski: I have no photos of the fossils with a digital camera and don't have a scanner.

No tengo ninguna foto de los fósiles con una cámara fotográfica digital y no tengo un explorador.
