My kind of peaceful spot.
Love the grasses, and the light play of breeze on the water.
Mary MacADNski: I plan a trip to a friend's property this week. She has three beaver dams on a pond. Can't wait!
beautiful the grass, and the colors of the trees on the background. When I saw the thumbnail it reminded me of the picture I have on my suriname.shutterchance.com blog.
Mary MacADNski: Ignore the request on the body 'n soul blog. I cut and pasted the address. I can see why this reminds you of that shot.
I can never get a good shot of a beaver lodge. That is a great one.
Mary MacADNski: I hope to get some shots of beaver dams on a friend's property later in the week too.

Watch beavers build their dams on TV but cannot ever remember seeing a photo of one. This is a lovely landscape Mary. layers of grasses, trees and clouds.
Mary MacADNski: I hope to get to a pond with other beaver dams this week and would love to see a beaver at work though they would probably hide.

Nice shot of natural life(nature).
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Tracy. I love ponds and have one on my property but no beaver dam so it is quite nice for me to see one too.
Oh, is it a beaver home ? That's cute ! We scarcely see them in France. Lucky you.
Mary MacADNski: There are other dams here too but I am showing only one in this photo. I am going to a friend's property later in the week. She has three on her pond so I hope we might see a live beaver.
Wow, look at that! Quite a construction, isn`t it? Love the grasses in the photograph, and the tree line. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: They have started some others at the same site. The family must be larger now.

Wow, what a good shot of the ecosystem and the dam. Have you seen the beavers?
Mary MacADNski: No but I'm going to a friend's property this week and she has three beaver dams so I hope to see some there.
Donovan... that takes me back. Lovely soft colours in this picture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It's not a terribly exciting photo but shows a beaver's home....our national symbol. Donovan - a blast from the past.
Oh! Mary! Ok?

Oh! Mary! I thus like to be sincere and being, I must to you say that this photo does not transmit any feeling to me, neither good nor bad. She is to me nice, but he would not be able to emphasize much of her. I hope that my words are taken in the best sense of friendship. Ok? smile
Mary MacADNski: Your opinion is welcome and taken with no bad feeling. The photo is meant to show the beaver's home in a marshland. Canada's national symbol is the beaver.

Su opinión es agradable y tomada sin la mala sensación. La foto se significa para demostrar el hogar del castor en un marshland. El símbolo nacional de Canadá es el castor.
So that's what they look like, thanks for sharing.
Mary MacADNski: That is a small one. I've seen them larger. I am planning to visit a site with three sometime this week or next so may have an example of a larger one.

The colors are so soft in this shot. Love it Mary. I would love to see the beaver though. Did they show?
Mary MacADNski: No, they didn't. Hopefully I will see one later in the week at a friend's pond.
Beautiful place and nice song too smile
