Would be nice to see a lonely figure of a fisherman at the edge of the pier. Well, I guess all the real fisherman are gone.
"Desolate" is the world that comes to mind.

Mary MacADNski: It is from an establishment that's a "pay for what you fish" place so there are often lonely fisherman standing there. It is a bit slippery at the moment though. Desolate is the perfect word.

No that is one slip and slide I'd rather avoid. Even the water looks cold.

Oh that looks cold! That jetty looks a bit past its' best to. It has been raining here overnight and it is just grey at the moment.
Mary MacADNski: It is actually very solid and holds tourists fishing at a "pay for what you fish" establishment. It is a bit slippery at the moment though. LOL

That looks really cold, I would need lots of layers.
Mary MacADNski: I wasn't at all dressed for it. I was dressed for dropping my car off at the garage. The friend who was giving me a ride home suggested the stop. She was dressed for it, of course.

You know, this is one of the things I love about Shutterchance - it`s like a window on the world! What`s more, if you are fed up with your own winter weather, you can pop over to another shutterchancer`s site and find worse weather, or find one where you can enjoy their spring or summer! lol! (:o)

This is one slippery slope indeed. It looks a bit unstable too.
Looks like icing sugar with a little dusting here and there.
