Daisy May - Someone Else's Cat

My sister gave me a book of quotations about cats.  I'll put one up each week with the Saturday Cat Shot.  I only tell you this because the quotation I've chosen is written in the first person and that person is not me.  I just wanted to explain that. Without further adieu...
"It warms my heart when I come in from the cold and my cat meets me at the door."

I like the composition here. Looks like the cat was pulling the wagon and put it down to take a rest!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Helen. I was considering cropping it down then decided not to. I'm glad you approve.

Awww...I like the blue in the background and the tiny toy carriage. As if we are in her world and she doesn't like it.
Mary MacADNski: She was patiently waiting for her mama to get out of the car and let her in the house.

The blue really compliments the cats colours.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it's a great background for her colour.

rotf at your song! He looks quite content to just sit and have his photograph taken...for the moment anyway, because he has that sort of "I see something interesting I need to investigate" look in his eye.
Mary MacADNski: It is a hilarious song isn't it? I don't know that kitty at all but her Mama was coming home to let her in and I think she was happy about that.

Awww. Priceless, Mary. It reminds me of someone waiting at the bus stop! smile I'm gonna enjoy your cat quotes, I'm sure.
Mary MacADNski: The quotes are really nice. They are not from famous people, just nice things about cats.
Lol, very nice idea with this blue background and the toy (?) on the left hand !
Mary MacADNski: I thinks it's a wagon uses as a decoration.

Hey Mary! I love the colours in this shot! Wonder what the cat saw that grabbed its attention.
Mary MacADNski: She saw her owner getting out of a car. She was anxious to get in and to her food.
Very nice composition Mary. I like the colours
Mary MacADNski: The colour is what made me grab my camera.
Love the song!! Love the quote and the picture is not half bad either!!smile
Mary MacADNski: The song is hilarious isn't it? I know it's not the greatest photo but the next opportunity for a shot would have been her backside.

I like the composition and the colours, the cat seems to me a little angry that she is not allowed on the cart and pulled by the neighbour dog.......Have a nice weekend.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. I'm going out for dinner so don't have to cook. That's a good start. You have a good weekend too.
Lovely portrait. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rosalyn. I love your starlings this morning. Three, then two.
