They almost look like slumbering beasts taking a beating by the wind! What a view, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It certainly was windy. Well worth the visit though. You just dress for the weather and you're good to go.

This is a place i would like to go...just to sit and let the mind wander over life's mysteries.
Wonderful image, again, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: There are probably insects you've never seen.
I have to get to the far side of Canada.
Gorgeous.
Mary MacADNski: It will be waiting, Michael.

It feels so peaceful. Great shot Mary.
Mary MacADNski: The wind was howling like anything so that part was not exactly peaceful but there wasn't a person about for miles. It was glorious!

Again a real beauty of a picture Mary, the white foam on the waves are so nice, this is an ivitation to go for a walk out there smile
Mary MacADNski: There is another dune photo tomorrow and possibly one for sunday. It was fun for me.
This beautiful photograph evokes memories of childhood trips to some of the more remote beaches in the UK. Once commited to the trip, woe betide the parent who tried to call it off. Camping out in the dunes to try to avoid chill winds, and sand in the sandwiches, and energetic ball games on the beach to stave off the cold. lol! Happy days and rosy cheeks. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: When I lived in the city, these north shore beaches are where I would go. The dunes are certainly a fun place for kids and you're comment is bringing back some great memories for me. This is wonderful, Rosalyn. Thanks.
Another great shot with these soft colours Mary. I like it
Mary MacADNski: I'm going to try to get back in the summer to show the dunes in their green dress.

My soul is still happy with these pictures. Sandy dunes grass and the sea.
Mary MacADNski: There's one more tomorrow, Louis. Glad you like them.

These are a new kind of waves ...
Nice contrast of colours ... Ann
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ann. I love those golden grasses.

The wind must be so strong to make those swirls in the dunes, Mary. I like the way the dunes peek up over the water and there is a hint of beach to the right!
Mary MacADNski: I wish we could have stayed longer this day but it was so cold. One of our crew was not dressed for the weather so would sometimes stay in the car so we were hurrying most of the time to just get a few shots.

I could imagine just sitting here taking in the view and listening to the waves roll in.
Mary MacADNski: That was a good part for me. We could hear the surf as soon as we opened the car doors.

very peaceful mood with evidence of the power of nature
Mary MacADNski: Dunes certainly do show us the power of nature. They are wonderful!!
Pleasant landscape of summer, caught in autumn!
Mary MacADNski: I'd like to get back in the summer to show the green grassy dunes and hopefully a blue bright sky.

Quisiera conseguir detrás en el verano demostrar las dunas herbosas verdes y esperanzadamente un cielo brillante azul.

It looks even more like Devon now. Another singer new to me as well.
Mary MacADNski: Glad to introduce you to someone new. I like this song of hers and the wind sound was perfect for this shot.

Another great shot. Stunning soft colors...
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ferdi. The strong wind does make the grasses look soft.

looks like a windy day...
Mary MacADNski: It was windy and cold.
Man that looks inviting. Great place to sit and ponder.
Mary MacADNski: You'd pick a less windy cold day to sit awhile here. Nut in June or July....
Beautiful Mary ! i like the smooth effect here ! Bravo !
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Zebigleb. The wind is blowing hard so the grass does look smooth.
