It's great to see some colour Mary the scene here is getting greyer.
Mary MacADNski: We're whiter here, Tracy. We are in our second day of a blizzard. I am hoping work is canceled as I really don't want to drive in it. Brrrrr
Sigh...my sweet peas died the death long ago, after a very poor showing. (I planted them too late.) I thought you lived in a region even colder than mine, so I'm wondering how these survived so long?
Mary MacADNski: I took these about a month ago at a friend's house. This was the sheltered side of her house. They're long gone now.
I don't know anything about sweet peas, Mary, except the name. No wonder we use it as a term of endearment!
Mary MacADNski: They have a scent that is out of this world, my favorite flower smell. They make gorgeous, highly scented bouquets. Like lilacs you can smell them when you walk into a room.
These make my day Mary, beautifull colouring, I did want to go out in a minute, it is raining again so now I have to wait, have a nice sunday
Mary MacADNski: We are in a blizzard here, Astrid. I am hoping work will be canceled. It was nice to meet you in a different way through Ginnie's photo. These flowers came up on the right day seeing as I uploaded them a week ago.
Yeah for Sweet Pea...and Pop-Eye and Olive Oyle.
They are happy, odorous plants...and the flowers come in brilliant hues.
Mary MacADNski: One of my favorite smells in the world. Different varieties have different sizes, smells and colours but nothing beats the original, old-fashioned variety.
