It's like your island is a "body," Mary, that has it's shapely curves. I like that! smile
Mary MacADNski: It was a cold windy body that day but the gods have responded and covered it in a thick white blanket over night. No regular hike today but I get to try my new (last year) snow shoes. We had no snow last year and I got them on only once.

I can hear the delicate tinkling music of the tiny shore-break on this red-pebble beach. Magic, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It was really, really windy. You may have noticed the whitecaps in yesterday's shot. This was the same place.

Mary, what are those red rocks on the shore made of. My mind wants to say ore as they have a rust type look and texture to them.

The shape of the shore is very visually appealing!
Mary MacADNski: Our island is made of red sandstone and you are correct in mentioning rust as iron oxide, or rust, is what gives the rock it's red colour. I probably took twenty shots of just these shapes.
Great choice of song Mary - one of my favourites.

This beach has nice curves and you caught that line ever so nicely in the picture. Not a beach to spread the towel for a tan though smile
Mary MacADNski: I'm recovering from twenty-three hours without electricity and in the middle of replying to you, it went out again. Second try.

If you'd had a towel on this day you would have been wrapped in it. It was extremely windy and cold.

I remember liking The whole of the moon and then never heard of the Waterboys again.I keep meaning to ask you if you like my favourite Canadian singer.. Gordon Lightfoot?

Oh and by the way, love this shot the curves are just right.
Mary MacADNski: I do like Gordon Lightfoot. He is such a symbol of Canada and writes about the landscape and you know I like the landscape.
Like the way the line of the water takes you through the picture, well seen Mary.

I like since you have trimmed the image to make follow with the eyes the line of the coast!
Mary MacADNski: I didn't trim this, Jose Angel but took many, many photos and chose the right one.
