but of course, if Kay didn't mention it, I would have totally forgotten that it was snow on the trees, now that I see that, I even agree more with Micheal
Mary MacADNski: The title I chose came from the song but Michael's would have been good too.
The song would fit ray's blog of today.
Bye, bye blackbird can also be introduced for this picture.
Thanks for all your songs.
Great picture of birds, snow and trees.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. There were lots and lots of birds today. I had a more appropriate song, Black Crow, but it was removed from my pages. Darn copyright stuff.
Hi Mary, I have recently discovered Patty Griffin.. exquisite singer songwriter.Unfortunately our access to music is blocked from work.. so have to listen later.
Great contrast in your photo...
Mary MacADNski: I like her a lot and I love her song Long Ride Home. Do you know it. Both these songs are about wake up break ups.
I like the black birds in the chaotic pattern that nature has made here. You have a very good eye...
Mary MacADNski: Thank you. that is kind of you to say. This birch is a different variety than most. It may have been planted before I bought the house twenty-four years ago. It is kinkier than the usual birches and does not have the red cast that is so distinct in the winter. It is a slow grower too; not like the normal native species.
