Well composed, with the bright snow against that fragile blue sky. Very pretty, but brrrrrrr.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Red Pen. Brrrr.

The difference is like Magic, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Magic it is. Snow hides the blemishes.

Why dead center, Mary? Could've been a priceless shot.
Z
Mary MacADNski: Would have been better to the side a bit, I agree.

Makes me think of a Snowman revealing its true character...disguise is only snow deep.
Mary MacADNski: Well said, Ray. I hope to get out to mane some snow people this year. All the kids are grown so snow people don't come as often.

Mary, this shot is beautiful! The crispness of it enhances the feeling of being cold and transports me there!

Great song too. Ella did a version too.
Mary MacADNski: I have many versions of this favorite song of mine. Ella did a version with Sarah Vaughan that is very good.
What a contrast, Mary! What is it about pristine snow that delights me so much? I can1t explain it, but it makes my heart skip a beat. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: It is so pretty on days like this. Shoveling it and driving in it are the problems, eh?
Oh, the first snowman of the season. Well done Mary!
Mary MacADNski: There will be more, I'm sure before this long winter is over.
I want to build a snowman now smile. Lovely lovely shot Mary
Mary MacADNski: I hope to build one too some day this winter.

What a difference! All this and Rod and Dolly too!
Mary MacADNski: Rod and Dolly do a pretty fair version. I have many versions of this favorite of mine.

Once again a terrific exposure of the snow.
Do you use a polarizer
Mary MacADNski: Just luck, Pops. I don't use a polarizer or any filters.

This is what I am waiting for, nice snow and a deep blue sky, very well capture Mary!!
Mary MacADNski: I was waiting for sunny days too, Astrid. We had a very long spell of cloudiness and grey skies.
must agree with vz Mary, lovely shot but had you placed it to the right were that empty space is i feel it would be a better compositionsmile
Mary MacADNski: You and VZ are correct. It would be better there.
Oh! Que difícil elección, Mary. La nieve es una de mis debilidades pero los colores de la primavera... no se. Me quedo con las dos! A mi tambien me gusta fotografiar lo mismo en diferentes epocas, es muy curioso!

Oh! That difficult election, Mary. The snow is one of my weaknesses but the colors of the spring... not. I remain with the two! To my also I like to photograph the same in different epocas, is very peculiar!
Mary MacADNski: I photograph many things during different times of the year. It is interesting I think.

Fotografía I muchas cosas durante diversas épocas del año. Es interesante yo piensa.
