photoblog image Pink Hair

Pink Hair

My niece dyed my daughter's hair pink.
What I have to say - Oh well, it's only hair.
What I'd like to say -%^&#*@$
I'll post a photo of it dry sometime.  It's not bad but I'm not sure what her employer is going to think

The best part about this, Mary, is that one day you will live to see her laugh at this herself! And THEN you will remember how you felt today. smile

BTW, your daughter is gorgeous!
Mary MacADNski: I can imagine her doing this in her eighties. Yeah for her!
She is gorgeous and hair is hair. It grows and can be trimmed.
Mary MacADNski: Her hair has had countless transformations. I;ll post a photo of it dry and combed.
Pink is the color of passion!! Google could not translate %^&#*@$, but I asumme it doesn't mean WOW I LOVE IT wink
It's nice Mary, although Ginnie is right, one day she herself will think different....or not smile

Merry Christmas Mary!!!
Mary MacADNski: She's an individual - just like everyone else. LOL. Harmless fun, eh?

Merry Christmas to you, Patrick

Truth be told, I had fire engine red hair, colored for a hair show. I stopped lots of traffic back then. (The 80's). I was so glad when my hair was dyed back brown. But it was fun.
I'm sure your lovely daughter is having fun...and then she'll get tired of it and dye it back.
Have a wonderful Christmas and News Years, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: She's been doing this for a long time - her form of innocent fun. She's an individual - just like everyone else. LOL

For those out there who are seeing this for the first time, It does look MUCH better when it's dry.

It looks like the dye isn't even washed out yet in this picture. (but since I wasn't there I can't say for sure)

But the next day, all dry and flat ironed, it looked pretty cute on her.
Mary MacADNski: I'm going to post a better photo soon.

I know how you feel Mary my daughter dyed her hair and I hated it but as they say I does grow out and she didn't like it herself after a week or two. She hasn't dyed it since.smile

Lovely looking girl
Mary MacADNski: This girl had been dyeing her hair since grade seven. She had it natural the last two years and was bored with it. I expect she'll do it forever more.
If you can't dye your hair pink when you are young, when can you? She looks great Mary! It will look better when it's dry.
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely the right attitude but somehow I still see this one at 80 with pink hair. Heck I'll be 110 then with mine still grey.

I'd never, ever have the courage to do this, but I think it looks fun - and it doesn't alter the person beneath the hair. wink
Mary MacADNski: You're absolutely right. She's the same sweet, impulsive girl she has always been.

Bold! I hope she conditions more foten so it doesn't get damaged....Pretty Smile...smile
Happy Holidays wink
Mary MacADNski: It is bleach and dye over more dye. She's been messing with her hair for many years now. It is very bold and matches those sneakers. I'll post a better photo soon.

Mary I know wher you are talking about, kids and hair....just say you like it...one time you will all laugh about it, my son was wearing real skating clothes, is still is a skater, but I now I am ironing his shirts when he goes to work......and this; it's only paint....grin
Mary MacADNski: LOL, I tease her about it mostly. I like it for the fun and it's not permanent, only hair.

Could have been worse, tattoo, pierced lip, shaved head. At least hair colour is just a change of mood and not disfiguring. She has a lovely smile. Wishing you both a safe and happy holiday season.
Mary MacADNski: That's how I look at it, Astrid. She has tattoos and piercings but in hidden, more intimate settings. Go figure...

Just a spur of the moment girl thing smile

You might mention to her before she goes out that the dye is on her face and ear smile
Mary MacADNski: It came off. The photo was a week ago. She looks better and I will post another photo soon.

I think the employer should stay out of her hair grin

Around here it is summer holidays and a lot of hair colouring happens. Heard the 16 yr old saying to the older sister yesterday - cant dye the hair - it won't have grown out before school starts again. So seems to me we are home free!

Great picture of a lovely daughter.
Mary MacADNski: I say - it's only hair. Makes her feel young, I'd say.
Kids will be kids, Mary! I`ve been there myself with my own daughter. lol! (:o)
Mary MacADNski: She's been doing this for yeasrs and it's only hair, i say.
Lol smile I should like to see the face of her boss then...
Mary MacADNski: Me too...LOL She said no one was upset.
