Mary, this is gorgeous! Love the crispness and the sparkle of the snow, and the texture of the wood. Your cats seem very comfortable in the snow - I`d love to see what mine are like with it. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rosalyn. These cats don't mind the snow and well sometimes play in it, doing snowplows with their noses, much like dogs will do.
I just love your cat shots Mary! (what's this about you having a sling for 6 wks?)
Mary MacADNski: I've had a serious injury. I dislocated my shoulder, torn all the ligaments and have a bone chip. The shoulder is to be completely immobilized for 6 weeks and may require surgery. i am very upset about the situation
Mary, what beautiful detailed snow you have captured here, your cats are a beautiful addition to it, do you notice that I almost start to like cats now, it is amazing, a year ago I wouldn't look into a cat photograph, now I actually start to like yours I hope you are not too painful, six weeks and sling sound like you really hurt yourself!! may the pain be relieved fast and the healing process progress at new year speed.
Mary MacADNski: I would like new year speed and i'm not too painful if the arm is immobile. Thanks for liking the cats. They are very nice girls.
Always good to see the cats. Our visiting cat seems very keen on staying...our girls are less keen and there is some hissing!
Mary MacADNski: It usually takes a while for cats to accept any new pet. My aunt is going through that after getting a new pup. Her cat has stayed in one room the last couple of weeks but is beginning to venture out now.
They look very interested in the new floor covering - I wonder if they remember one year to the next?
Mary MacADNski: I think they do. Usually the first snow, they play in it by snowplowing with their noses. It's very cute. By the time of this photo, they're quite familiar with snow. We've experienced an early winter. I'd say they are checking out squirrels.
oh dear Mary, just read about your accident, hope things don't take too long to heel, wishing you the best...........tim
Mary MacADNski: It is estimated to take six weeks, longer if I have surgery. Then there is physiotherapy following that. This is going to be a looooong winter. Thank you for the good wishes. I am taking them seriously and appreciate them very much.
