I like the rose colored hue to the photo - very romantic.

I know what you mean, I have the same with my frost picutres, this is a great capture, love the colors in it, I will be in the dunes next weekend again!!
Mary MacADNski: Our dunes are pretty well covered for now - until the next thaw.
It is wonderful how such a simple plant can be so beautiful. Great contrast with the sand. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: I love when the marram grasses turn golden.

Beautiful blend of colours. That was well spotted
Mary MacADNski: The pink sand is so pretty. It was so, so windy and cold this day that most grass was lying sideways.

Add a bit of sun and I'm off with my bucket and spade to make some castles smile
Mary MacADNski: You would have wanted a hat and mittens on that freezing cold day
Anyone who hasn't listened to the Nina Simone track while looking at this has missed a lot. Lie back on the sand, close your eyes and listen to a great voice.
Mary MacADNski: Nina Simone is incredible. I have a youtube link for you, Bill. This is a quite young Nina singing and playing, I Loves You Porgy, one of my favorite all time songs. I had heard this version many times but had never SEEN it. I've looked at it every couple of weeks for a couple of years and it still gives me shivers. NO ONE does emotion like Nina Simone.

For me right now, Mary, I have not yet had my fill of snow, but I'm sure you have.

That Nina Simone is something else. THANK YOU for reminding me of her. I will live in that wild wind for awhile, thanks to you and her!
Mary MacADNski: I had big plans for a snowy winter but with my injury they have been put aside. I'm not able to take many good photos so have to dig into the files. Luckily they are plentiful.

There is no one like Nina Simone!

If you screw up your eyes it could almost be snow! Nice close-up shot.

Mary MacADNski: Ha, I've just been going through a bunch of snow photos. Pure white and blue.

Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richa
Ahahah! Recuerdo los enlaces! Un buen detalle! Pero hablas de nieve? Donde? wink

Ahahah! Memory the connections! A good detail! But you speak of snow? Where? wink
Mary MacADNski: You will see plenty of snow....too much. I needed a break.

Usted verá el un montón de la nieve....too mucho. Necesité una rotura.
That is quite lovely. The sand is wonderful.
Mary MacADNski: Can't wait to see it again!

i like the lines of the grass and the texture of the sand
Mary MacADNski: The only way I could get the grass static was this low. It was a mightily windy day.
Very strange pinktone - A nice picture once again Mary !
Mary MacADNski: That is our colour. With the red soil we get pink sand.
