Mary MacADNski: I do have more but none uploaded for this week/ I will put some up for next week.
the snow looks wonderful. Good job.
Mary MacADNski: It is very pretty.

Startling, beautiful, wonderfully presented post, Mary.
Hardly Great White Nothing, if I am seeing this post correctly.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ray. We had a thaw since this but are expecting a storm tonight.

I must say, Mary, that YOUR snow takes the cake! And I bet this is what you get when there's global warming. It would probably be twice this much otherwise?! smile I love it.
Mary MacADNski: We've had hardly any snow the last couple of years and now after a January thaw, there is hardly any left. To remedy that, a storm is coming tonight and tomorrow. We had four storms the first week of Jan.
Just a magnificent shot Mary. The colours and the brightness are wonderful
Mary MacADNski: I loved the blue.

The sun and the snow seem to have combined to give that shadow a lovely blue hue.
Would love to see more of the distant houses in the shot without losing to much of the shadow.
I won't suggest a ladder seeing how your still one handed smile
Mary MacADNski: That snow is all gone now though we're getting a storm tonight.
Beautiful blue cast on the shadow! What a lovely Winter scene... Congratulations, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I love what a sunny blue sky does to the snow!

Great shot Mary I just want to be the first to walk through the fresh snow...smile
Mary MacADNski: Jump on the jet. We're having a storm tonight.
Seems so cold, so pure, and so silent. I really love snowy landscapes.
Mary MacADNski: It was the first day out after four back to back storms. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day to be out.

I like all the different shades of blue, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Starting with the sky, that caused all those blues.

Love this - the strong shadow gives it a very graphic feel and the colours are so pure.

Mary MacADNski: The sun does it's job...
Oh Mary, that blue shadow makes this such a striking photograph. Beautiful light, too. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: That lovely blue sky is the cause of it all.
Now I know you never "twiddle" so this has to be a straight shot. Love it Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It is absolutely. Straight out of the camera. Someone suggested 'I remove the blue' from another snow shot but when the sky is blue snow and it's shadows are blue.

Mary MacADNski: T'was a great day to be out.

WOW...that's some sight. We never get that in Ireland...we might on the occasional January get a couple of days of light snow but it usually disappears quickly. And amazingly can bring the country to a halt we're so unused to it.
Mary MacADNski: We had four storms that week and finally the sun came out!
Like it !! Very much snow here, now I understand how the help of your son is precious smile
Mary MacADNski: Precious and necessary with my injury. Normally I would do it all myself.
