That is pristine and sparkling snow and the shadows are wonderful, especially the cat.
Certain cats around here wouldn't dream of stepping outside on such a cold day! This a fine shot of a brave shadow-cat! What does it see down below that makes it ready to pounce?
Mary MacADNski: She wants me to pick her op or pet her. I'm trying to take a photo with my left hand so have no hand for her. Cats grow up with snow so are used to it.
When I opened this up, Mary, I immediately said, "AWWWWWW!" And Donica wanted to know what I saw, so I described this image to her. It is soooo sweet! I'm glad your cat was able to give you some loving. We ALL need that, every day!!
Mary MacADNski: She was the one looking for loving. She loves being carried on my left shoulder and can not figure out why I can't bend down and pick her up. We'll get back to normal eventually.

HA! I forgot to take Tracy's name off (now that she's gone!). Oh well, we're still living in the memory of her time with us here in Amsterdam.

Today is the day of shadows - everyone seems to be putting something up with them. I like your choice - the cat is the best part!
Mary MacADNski: There's always a cat here on Saturday.
Don't they just. Our little tortie always snuggles down if someone is not very well in bed.

You did a wonderful job here- I really like this!
Mary MacADNski: Thank you so much. I really like it too. I had just had arm surgery and could not lift my arm at all. The string hanging off my right arm is from my immobilizing sling. It was so hard not to be able to photograph but I managed in this instance, using my left hand. It was a long winter.
