Oh Mary this is striking. I would have been tempted to crop off the black on the right side and the tiny bit of brown on the bottom left (or clone it out). Even so, this is just beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: Cropping would definitely have been a good idea however I don't have cloning tools.
Love the lighting Mary and the angle you have taken this shot from.
It's great to see your snow as we had only had a skittering. Thank you for sharing yours
Mary MacADNski: We are getting more this afternoon. I would be glad to share that and more. Bring your shovel.
Lovely shapes Mary...do you get tired of everything being white for such an extended period?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, is the short answer. My whole artistic life deals in colour and white can be boring. If the sun is out turning the snow blue and leaving nice shadows, that is ok.
It does have a nice balance to it. Now I know it's impossible but just a little detail in the white snow at the top - we can do such magic with P/shop.
Another point. How do I play your music selections? Do I have to download a 'plugin'? Is is safe?
Mary MacADNski: I think you just press the link. If a message tells you you must have a plugin, I would say it's safe as most can play the music.
I dont have or use p/shop. I like it's effects for others but don't have the skill or time to learn. I use Picassa for straightening horizons and the occasional crop.
By the way did I tell you i managed to get a copy of the Finn Bros Album...and as for Johnny Cash, took my daughter Helen to see walk the line and she is now a Johnny Cash fan...so am I!
Mary MacADNski: My daughter loved that movie! Raved about it, in fact.
