*sigh* so beautiful, so stunning, the serenity is so good in this picture, see the stars on the snow, Wow Aussie, you lucky guy to have such a tribute, Mary a deep bow for you my friend.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. Aussie is away for the week. I put my photos up a week in advance and found out too late she was going away.
Beautiful landscape and great picture. The crystal like refelctions must be awesome to observe.
Excellent request from Aussie.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. The snow was especially beautiful this week with the full moon and strong moonshadows. With the great reflection of the moon on all the white snow, I'm sure you could read outside.
That is a terrific shot. Everything above the snow is super sharp and the snow itself looks nice and crunchy.
Getting everything in focus like that was a wonderful achievement
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Pops. It was a great day to be alive.
I'd hate to lose my keys out there, you'd not find them til April
Mary MacADNski: One year on Christmas day my kids brought a new game with them when we went to christmas dinner at grandma's. When we got home one of them dropped it in the snow getting out of the car. All the black pieces were found immediately....the white ones, not till spring. LOL Thanks for the memories.
This is great...makes me think of a "white christmas", which I read about a lot, but couldn't really imagine as I spent my childhood in a desert area of Australia where snow was improbable at any time of the year.
Mary MacADNski: You should spend a Christmas in Canada - just for the experience. I spent one in Australia, and a new years eve in Sydney, and my Jan. birthday which previously had been snow filled. What an experience to spend these three holidays on a beach!
Love it! That snow is sparkling..It is simply beautiful. It sounds gorgeous in the moon light!
Mary MacADNski: Oh the moonlight was incredible. At Christmas time's full moon it was the same too and my pond was perfect for skating. Pure perfection!
Me gustan estas texturas! Se puede apreciar el brillo de los cristales de hielo!
Mary MacADNski: There is lots and lots of snow. This link shows how deep it is. The piece of wood in front of the tree is the same wood in the photo in the link.
Hay porciones y porciones de nieve. Este acoplamiento demuestra cómo profundamente está. El pedazo de madera delante del árbol es la misma madera en la foto en el acoplamiento.
