I'm tired of looking at snow.  Here's my hiking partner in mid-October.  We had a wonderful walk in heavy rain showers.  She's not trying to stop traffic; she's trying to fly.

I like much this composition Mary! The landscape and the view are wonderful. A highway that I would like to cross!

Mary MacADNski: I think the car driver wondered too. This is not a well traveled road, basically only people who live on it use it. She moved over though.

LOL at Tracy! I was doing something similar yesterday out walking in a Dutch polder and I was trying to fly with the wind (no rain). I had no care in the world, even with the on-coming cars! "What a way to go" was all I could think of! smile
Mary MacADNski: I read this and said how the heck did she know my friend's name is Tracy? Sounds like you had fun on your walk like Tracy and I did this day. We both love walking in the rain. We have another walking buddy but he won't go out on rainy days....makes his hair frizzy! LOL

A bit of humour Mary. I think we have all been in a situation like that. great comp. Looks like the car could have a problem on the muddy hill.

Well it would be a good thing if she can take of before impact with the car.

A fun picture. I took some pictures of wet roads over here the past saturday. Had to use the 4x4 to reach the horse the past 2 saturdays.
