being...as she is...a human, she is trying to read the comics section of the newspaper, and so is not much interested in posing.
Mary MacADNski: My cats never saw their mother and were hand raised by people so absolutely they think they are human. I've trained them not to bother birds and the birds and squirrels can sit side by side. I sometimes wonder if she can read as she stares at the words as I'm reading. She's the most intelligent cat I've ever had.
LOL at Ray! I guess Bella is a lot like some people we know, right, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: She thinks she is a person. These cats never saw their mother and were hand raised by people. For the first few years they were terrified of cats but were fine with dogs. They're almost ten so over that now.
I do agree with Bella, why sit up and be nice all the time, you go there girl, but I have to admit I do like the color of this great compagnion of yours, very well captured!!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. You have her pegged. She is NOT nice all the time but is super friendly, loving strangers whereas Kenz runs under a bed if a stranger comes.
Beautiful cat !!! I love them ... I used to have one that I had when he was 8 days old ... I had to feed him with a bottle, wash him, he was like a baby ...
Hi Mary, I've just been looking at your picture of Kenz in the snow and this one of Bella. I have 3 cats - one of which (Jackson) loves the camera and appears several times in my archive. Rory and Faith on the other hand seem to actively avoid the attentions of the lens. Anyway, its interesting to see how your pictures show the contrasting personalities of your beautiful cats.
Mary MacADNski: I remember your kitties. Interesting that you have camera shy ones too. I had three but Clarke was taken by a coyote. I still post him though. He's up this coming Saturday.
Bella is still so cute!
