I love th colors here. And the DOF. Such a pretty color purple!
Mary MacADNski: I pick chive flowers for vases, they're so pretty.
Simply beautiful. I love the bugs crawling around in there.
Mary MacADNski: In for some chive dip.

Great DOF and I think a treat for today, we have heavy fog, so I am in a 'small'world today. Hope things are better at your place?
Mary MacADNski: As the radio woman said, we have horrid weather for today. Snow changing to ice pellets and freezing rain, then the temp rises to 7 and then we get a ton of rain over all the accumulated snow. Winds will be gusting to 80... February in eastern Canada

Terrific macro Mary, love the dof and colours
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Aussie - thoughts of summer.
Love the little bug on his way for lunch! Will catch up with the songs later.
Mary MacADNski: I was thinking you might enjoy both of these songs.
Wonderful composition Mary. Great lightinf anf DOF
Mary MacADNski: Ah, that great summer sun.
Lovely macro, Mary. Do I smell the aroma of chives? (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Plain old chives, it is.

Excellent, including the ant's shiney backside. Never knew chives have such beautiful flowers.
Mary MacADNski: The flowers are edible so very good for garnishing.

Very pretty flower...onion family mostly has nice blooms, and Chives might be the best.
Lovely place for an ant to explore, too.
Mary MacADNski: There are some members of the family that are strictly ornamental that are really beautiful. One has a bloom bigger than a person's head.

We have 1 huge chive plant in our flower bed. I love chopping them to put in potato salad.
Mary MacADNski: They're great in everything.

I love this purple a lot !!! It's funny seeing this little ant inside the flower !!!
Mary MacADNski: The ant is having chive dip. Thanks, Ann
Just tried listening to the songs but both were playing up. Heard enough to like them and will try again. How's the shoulder?
Mary MacADNski: I'm not sure what you mean by playing up - cultural differences, I guess. They're great songs. Shoulder is best it's been in 7 weeks.
