I wonder where YOU were, Mary, to capture this "on high." A parallel bridge? I like the lines and angles for these nonchalant gulls.
Mary MacADNski: Look at this one Ginnie to see where I was standing:

I miss seagulls! Strangely there are none in Bangkok, even though it is only a few Km from the sea, and there are many opportunities for scavenging.
Your very nice picture prompts me to go looking for some gulls soon, mary.
Mary MacADNski: That is a strange fact, Ray seeing that gulls are universal and seem to be everywhere.

Thanks for the link to your other picture, I love this one, the colors are so great, the seagulls remind me of Texel (island in the North of Holland) they belong there as these seagulls belong on 'your' bridge....love the lines in this picture.

You have managed great symetry here. Excellent composition.
Beautiful composition Mary. I like the symmetry here!
Dylan, arguably past his best..but still far better than most!

I knew Richard Standley would like this...he loves symmetrysmile
They look like they are waiting for something. Maybe the next fishing boat?

I just heard from Mary's son and the kidney came out well and everything went as planned. The doctor was very optimistic about everything, so it looks like Mary will be home in 5 or 6 days. Thanks for all the prayers and comments.

That's GREAT news! We'll keep praying though, for a completely clean bill of health and a swift recovery. Hope Mary takes some pix of the hospital experience - then we'll know for sure she's doing fine! smile
