Oh the red tree just screams out "look at me" much to the dismay of the evergreen.

And a beautiful, bright Autumn scene it is, too. Especially love the rich green of the bull-rushes in the shallows, Mary.

This was posted on one of Marys other blogs by her oldest son this morning.
As you can see she is doing great. She is such a fighter.
I am going over this weekend for a couple of weeks to look after her when she gets home.
Going to make sure she doesn't fight too much and gets lots of rest.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update that Mom is doing well. The surgery went great, and the Doctor is encouraged and confident that all will be fine. Mom seems to be recovering well, although the nurses don't seem to be doing her any favors. She wasn't able to get an epidural, which was her plan, but so far the pain hasn't been as bad as advertised. We saw her pretty late last night, and are heading in again soon.
