I like the softness of the weather boarding Mary enclosing the dark windows.
beautiful details in the wood and the structure of the house. I love it, I can see the same building technique employed that the Dutch and English sailors used in the first Surinamese houses back in the days.
I would like to see another one taken when you are back on your feet and well.

That's dramatic, Mary.
I don't think closer than this would be prudent.
Mary MacADNski: This is as close as I got. I wandered around very carefully as the long grass had hidden boards and the rusty nails they contain. It's not really a safe site. i plan to go back on a blue sky day this spring to see if the building survived.
Very interesting views of the house.
