I usually try to show nice, idyllic side to the country but today I'm not. This piece of plastic something or other blew past a few weeks ago and got stuck in the barbed wire among some big trees on my property. I'd been watching it for days. My sister and I went to retrieve it and it wasn't there, gone! Unbeknownst to me I snapped a photo of the other side of the yard and did not know until this minute what happened to that large piece of road debris.

I think the plastic is playing charades, Mary. Just now it is doing "snow drift against fence post", but its playing partner, "Slow Joe Crow" is not getting it!
I like the weave of twigs, filtering the sky.
Mary MacADNski: Yesterday we watched an ermine (weasel) running around the back yard carrying mice bigger than itself into storage spots. He rushed a crow to scare it away as he did not want the crow to know where it's store was. Fascinating. I just hope he can't get into the basement.
Hi Mary. Pleased to see that your health issues are not as serious as you feared they might be.
Plastic garbage like this is an eyesore the whole world over and in England this time of year, before the new leaves conceal it, is the worst. Our main roads and motorways must have cubic metres of it every mile.
LOL - when I taught Geography I could not believe the number of kids who spelt it "I saw"!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, Ron, I'm pleased with my news.
On Mother's Day weekend, Islanders armed with garbage bags provided by The Women's Institute, line the roadsides for an annual roadside cleanup. It is amazing the amount that is collected.
We have plastic pieces here as well, but not as big as this one.
The crow seems imperial here! Fine shot.
Mary MacADNski: Yesterday my brother showed me a beautiful photo he had taken at a waterfalls. A white blob in the way turned out to be a plastic bag stuck in a tree.
Glad to hear you have recovered enough for your sister to head home.
Just a bit of snow left and I hope someone removed the plastic before it did any harm to the wildlife.
Mary MacADNski: I'm pretty nervous about her leaving but she has to get back to work. I'll get by, I'm sure. No worries, the big plastic bag is in my trash now.
If your sister is leaving I'm thinking you are well on the mend So that must be good.
Lean on me..still a great song
Mary MacADNski: She left as she has to go back to work. She took vacation time to come care for me. I'm on the mend but can not lift, pull, stretch or do anything strenuous.
This looks just like the place we are visiting (my daughter's home in New Jersey) except there isn't any snow here. The crow, the field, bush, type of trees etc. - the same! So glad you are feeling well enough to get out with your camera!
Mary MacADNski: This is in my yard so I'm not going too far. I can't walk any distance yet.
