Receding Ice

My arm and shoulder have improved to the point that on Friday, I drove my car for the first time since Christmas Day.  First on the agenda was to get some fresh photos.  For the next while you can watch the ice disappearing from a river and see some lobster fishers getting their gear ready for the upcoming season.  It sure was great to be able to drive again!!!

I particularly like this photograph. The colors are lush and it is just such a great symbolic shot for your first time out in months. It says to me, "the sun is out again and so is Mary!"
Nice shot! Good composition and good contrast of colors!
Mary MacADNski: Gracious, mi amigo.

Wonderful to hear that you are well on the way to recovery, Mary. Fabulous photograph - I love that red earth, the icy water, and that beautiful blue sky. (:o)
Mary MacADNski: It has been very warm all week so a lot of melting would have taken place but we are getting flurries on Sunday. Ha!
