photoblog image Big Rock With Seaweed

Big Rock With Seaweed

I hope you enjoyed a few days at the beach.  All of the beach photos from the last two weeks were from the same beach just a short walk from my home.  The only exception is from April 24th, entitled Savage Harbour.

A bit of a double-take for me here, for a moment I thought the seaweed was grass. Doesn't it look strange, eye-catching too
Mary MacADNski: That is the type of seaweed that can be on top of rocks too and that is very, very slippery. It's colour is so brilliant and beautiful. Slippery When Wet!

Wow - this is so interesting! I enjoyed your series and it's good to see that you appreciate the beauty so close to your home!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Martie. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm walking there this afternoon and will be enjoying it in person.
I must get down to the beach more at low tide, thanks Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: I am going this afternoon and hope the tide is low.
Beautiful capture Mary. I like the colours combination. I really enjoyed your series!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm walking there this afternoon and enjoying it in person.
You are lucky to have this wonderful beach so close at hand. I think this is the best picture of the series
Mary MacADNski: I know I'm lucky. If I weren't so tired from gardening I'd walk down. I'd planned to. It's also hot but the water isn't warm enough yet for a swim.

A rock with a cool green grass skirt, nice shot
Mary MacADNski: Ha! Looks like that doesn't it. It's had one too many hulas.
