Very interesting composition with the browns, rust and the red!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, martie. The red osier dogwood is beautiful at that time of the year. With the plow there, I couldn't resist.

I sort of feel a bit like that plow today. Nice shot!
Mary MacADNski: Rusty? Oh, no! You need oil - halibut, salmon or cod. Thanks, Helen.

Great composition, love the touch of red, it will be a great sight righ now, all in the green grass.
Have a nice weekend.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Astrid. You're kind. Good weekend to you too.
Nice ''Go slow'' lines on this old plough. They got the pace of life right I guesss.

Mary MacADNski: Not used much any more, I'm afraid. We've lost a lot.

Difficult to imagine this almost sepia looking shot in a green version. I have used the scroll and checked that the picture looks better without the little bit of water on top.

Still a nice picture - the red ones - are they birch saplings?
Mary MacADNski: I definitely should have cropped the water off. The red branches are red osier dogwood. They are beautiful at that time of year and in winter against the white. Soon they'll be covered in leaves.
This plough is the perfect colour for this picture. I would have trimmed the top to get rid of the water, but that's just personal preference. This is a lovely picture Mary
Mary MacADNski: You're absolutely right about the cropping. I shouldn't be so lazy.
Beautiful capture Mary. I can imagine the plough beeing covered by grass by now!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. I passed it the other day and it looks completely different.
I really like the tones here ..
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, shakara.

That is a relic for the ages, Mary. I love stuff like that!
Mary MacADNski: So it is. It's fun to come across interesting things like this.

Gosh, I can almost imagine somebody having to push this plough behind a horse.
Mary MacADNski: Hopefully it wasn't so rusty when in use.
Again, fabulous tones.
Mary MacADNski: So glad to hear from you!
I like the muted colour palette, with the wiry red breaking out.
Mary MacADNski: The bright red is what made me stop the car.
