The gorgeous wood is a perfect backdrop for the flowers.
Mary MacADNski: They looked so pretty sitting on the bench. I hardly wanted to take them inside.

Nice!
Ditch the two-lip though...it lowers the tone of the situation. [grin]
Mary MacADNski: We have to celebrate those who are different, Ray!
The daffs and tulips are long gone here now, but they are lovely while the last
Mary MacADNski: The daffs are just about gone here but the tulips still have a week or so. I love them so much.

Yes, the wood is a wonderful contrast to the beautiful colours of the flowers.

Very nice indeed
Mary MacADNski: Thanks. FLOOG. Spring is colour.

A lovely combination of colours, Mary, and a good a reminder of our spring now just a memory. The table goves a good backdrop to this with its texture.
Mary MacADNski: My daffs are almost gone too. They got drenched too many times.
The wood makes them stand out so nicely. Beautiful shot Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard.

great composition
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Chantal.
Lovely picture Mary, the daffodils are all over for this year and the tulips are probably at their best so this is a nice reminder that springis only a few more months away.
Mary MacADNski: Where are you, Brian? Our tulips are at their best and the daffodils are about gone. We're almost at the same stage. England's are all long gone, so they tell me so you're probably not there.

Mary they look beautiful...I only hope you did not put the tulip in with the narcisses, the tulip will die, the narcis has, after cutting, some poisenois flued, in Holland we are always warned not to mix these two, BUT I love the combination.
Mary MacADNski: I discovered that myself years ago. I sometimes do it anyway if I want that combination but I have hundreds so it's ok.
Beautiful, well done.
Mary MacADNski: On their way to a vase.

Beautiful, Mary. I love the colors against the wood backround.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Helen. There is nothing like those early spring colours.

Put the daff petals over the top of the tulip stem, then maybe rotate the whole thing anti-clockwise. It would give the making of a fine art print.
Mary MacADNski: You mean it's not art now??? LOL

Mary MacADNski: The daffs are pretty well gone now but the tulips are still nice.

Spring just when we are starting to feel the chill of winter coming.
Mary MacADNski: Your Brisbane winters are probably not too bad are they. Do you get frost?

Hi Mary

A reply to a reply, yes I am in England, right in the Midlands actually, and although the daffs.are long gone we still have some nice tulips around the area where I live. Not for much longer though I suppose.
Nice! Very nice, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I picked many more beautiful ones today to fill several vases.

Escogí muchos más hermosos hoy para llenar varios floreros.
