I get a sense of anticipation from this, as if waiting for the wheel to start turning from the gentle weight of the bird.
Mary MacADNski: It's pretty secure up there. No wind has taken it down yet.

I am expecting some pint-sized Don Quixote to ride into the scene and start poking at that monster.
I think Ginnie might like your PEI windmill.
Fine image, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: THe big huge cattle monsters that usually inhabit that field haven't been put in yet. Then...he can be scared.

HA! Ray is so right. This is one whimsical attempt at blowing in the wind, Mary. I love it.
Mary MacADNski: And I have that song in my arsenal too.......

I'd like to know what the bird is looking at! Or perhaps he's intent on steering the wheel himself. smile

Well done, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: He has a huge pasture in front of him. The cattle haven't been put on it yet.
Very nicely composed shot Mary. I like the pastel tones!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. We're working with a palette of green at this time of year.

very well spotted, this little birdie
Mary MacADNski: My camera is very slow. I was happy he stayed long enough to capture him.

Love it, he is at the lookout for...well who knows what, Mary I love this composition, this is one of those shots we never intend to take.
Mary MacADNski: It's not sharp as it's through a glass door. I knew if I opened the door, he's be gone.
What is a Grackle Mary?
Mary MacADNski: It's the name of that bird, Bill. Perhaps you don't have them there. Here's the Wiki article on them. I've seen them in Mexico and Cuba but a different subspecies. They're common returning birds in the spring here.

I am thankful to you that you have put the other image connected. It likes me plus the previous one, it has a point of greater saturation and that favors much to the green color!
Mary MacADNski: I'm glad you had a look, Jose-Angel. This one loses some because it was taken through the window. I knew if I open the door the bird would be gone.

I' m alegre usted tenía una mirada, José Angel. Éste pierde alguno porque fue tomado a través de la ventana. Sabía si abro la puerta que el pájaro sería ido.
Mmmm...rhubarb!!
Mary MacADNski: Plenty around here these days. It can be made into some pretty spectacular dishes and drinks. I just sent my son a recipe and plan/ed to send more. Yum!
