I drove by this view in the morning and decided to return in the afternoon via the back road for some photos. When I returned most of the flower heads had been snipped off. The flowers are grown for the bulbs and are forced in the winter giving us beautiful tulips in the middle of the winter.

This is absolutly wonderful Mary! Looks like a painting. The delicate foreground lines are leading our eyes to these beautiful tulips waving fields!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. When I took the photo I thought I might crop them out but when I saw it on the screen, I liked the foreground and left it in.
Mary MacADNski: You must see plenty of fields like this in Holland. The Dutch farmers who have this tulip business have been doing this for for or maybe five years. I love having the fresh tulips in the winter.
Mary MacADNski: Gracias, Jose-Angel.
