Streetlight in the Sky

I am fascinated with watching the sky.
My grandmother told me a few years ago
that I've always been that way.
I only rarely post sky photos to Shutterchance but will this week.
I've not been getting out to shoot much.
Work, work, work.

Lovely picture Mary, this reminds me of a saying I heard on the island of JERSEY … Red sky at night GUERNSEY’S on fire

Very Beautiful
Almost looks like some of mine but I have the barn in the way instead of the street light.
Love You
Cath
Mary MacADNski: You know it had to be spectacular if that side of the sky was lit at night.

Lovely shot Mary. The colours are really nice.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Aussie. This sky is saying, "Notice me, notice me."

The lighting is magical.

I love cloud watching and often lie there making shapes out of the fluffy, roaming formations.

This is beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: Cloud watching is satisfying and a perfect way to spend time.
Great light Mary...richard
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. This sky is saying, "Notice me, notice me."
I have always been fascinated by the sky and the stories it tells.
This one is magical Mary. I love it!
Mary MacADNski: There is never a moment of boredom in the sky.

Wonderful!

I hope you can rustle up some skies like this for us in a couple of weeks when we visit your country. End of June, early July would be great, thanks.
Mary MacADNski: Are you coming to the east coast? It's hard to order up weather here. It changes every hour.

Colours [golds and violets] really make this an outstanding skyscape, Mary.

Most of my sky shots are sunrises. You get the sunset shots.
Cath
Mary MacADNski: I rarely get sunsets, placed where I am. i get sunrises more often too. This is one where the whole sky is taking part.
The great thing about the sky is it constantly changes..well it does in the UK!

I used to kid my younger daughter that there was an old westcountry saying...red sky in the west tme to wear your wooly vest!
Mary MacADNski: There are certainly lots of sayings about the sky. It changes constantly here too.

Glorious colours in this, Mary. The lamp and tree give it something extra.
Mary MacADNski: The lamp and tree let us know I'm still on earth, not in heaven.
I am a big sky fan.
Colette Amelia and I were driving home from Hyder, Alaska yesterday and the iPod was playing a love song. There was suddenly a heart shaped cloud in the sky.
Mary MacADNski: You romantic, you!
