Not ready to let go just yet!
This image is a celebration of the great outdoors, Mary. Love it!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Ray, though I've just discovered you've seen it before. Suby and Sinem remembered it. I didn't. Could have chosen from many others.
Lovely (have we seen this image before somewhere?)
Mary MacADNski: You have a better memory than I do. I just went back through the early archives and there it was. I have so many others to choose from too.....
Happy Canada Day, will there be any fireworks in the park??
I was in Winnipeg in 1987 and there was an enormous firework in the park.
Love the shape/colours of the leaf.
Mary MacADNski: Charlottetown is the birthplace of Canada so the federal gov. gives us a ton of money. With the provincial and municipal money added in, we have the largest display of fireworks in Canada.
HAPPY Canada Day, Mary. We'll follow suit a couple days later, as you know. I LOVE Canada's maple leaf symbol. I grew up with maple trees in Michigan and feel very "close" to Canada.
Mary MacADNski: On July fourth, I'll put some special music for you on The Island Walk.
hiya! i just had an overall look at your archive and was admiring how much natural beauty you seem to be surrounded by...and then I realised...you live on PEI!!!!that is THE ONE place I've always wanted to visit...
p.s I like maple leaves but I'm more curious to see a beaver...(I've only ever seen cartoon depictions...)
Mary MacADNski: I have a photo of a beaver run but didn't see a beaver that day. Reply to this and I'll have your e-mail. If I ever come across a beaver I will put it on SC and e-mail you a notification.
I have an Aussie friend (Canberra) coming for a visit in October. Jump in her suitcase.
