photoblog image White Moth and Lilac

White Moth and Lilac

A few weeks ago I picked a bouquet of lilacs at a friend's house.  When I had them arranged in the vase I noticed I'd brought in another visitor.

And what a beautiful visitor. Mary! The two complement each other!
Mary MacADNski: I think the moth was hiding out, having a sleep. They are night creatures. I wanted to put it back outside but my friends let it stay. It stayed there the rest of the day.

Love the visitor, great picture, I can almost smell the flowers, so beautiful captured, just love it, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I think the white moth chose a lovely smelling bed for the day. Thanks, Astrid.

I do like the colours in this, as does your little friend, by the look of it!
Mary MacADNski: He is a night time moth so chose a sweet smelling place for his bed.
What a beautiful image. I love lilacs and the un-expected guest makes the shot.
Mary MacADNski: The guest was certainly a surprise - and photogenic.
Oh! Mary! This is very nice! The colors and details are fantastic!
Mary MacADNski: Gracias, Jose-Angel. I wish we could smell them too.
