Laden With Blossoms

My apple trees were laden with blossoms this year.  I see lots of work ahead that will make some cows very happy.  I throw all the fallen apples over the fence and with over a dozen trees.....

How beautiful. Love the colors!
Mary MacADNski: A blue sky would have set the tree off but it was not to be.
Very nice.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Brian and Alix.

What a waste...windfalls make the best cider, Mary!

Great picture.

I see you have the Rosalyn angle about green and its therapeutic powers...
Mary MacADNski: I have a friend that comes by for tons for his cider. He can have all he wants. One woman used to come for windfalls to feed her pig to give it an apple flavor before slaughtering.

I don't know about Rosalyn angle. Tell me more!

Mary I likeit. Bees must love that time of the year, the buildings and cows in the back ground work for me
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the bees love it. Cedar Waxwing birds love them too.
A beautiful apple tree Mary! I like the skyline with the cows and the houses.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. It would have been nice to have a blue sky but it wasn't blue.

great blossom, I wish I could smell them too
Mary MacADNski: I had big bouquets everywhere in the house for a week. They smell heavenly!
Mary, this is beautiful! (:o)
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rosalyn. I had pink ones and white ones and pink and white ones and tons of blossoms.
Gallons of applesauce and the occasional pie. That is an incredible tree.
Mary MacADNski: All the apple trees were like this. Pies galore this fall.

Ah, gorgeous. Such amazing blossom in a tranquil scene that I'd love to roam amongst.

Beautiful, Mary
Mary MacADNski: It was really lovely this year. Each tree blossoms at a different time so it lasts for weeks.
All I can say about fallen apples is apple pie, apple jam, apple desert...and best of all....Cider! (alcohol type)
Mary MacADNski: I have friends who come and pick for their cider and all those others are certainly part of life around here at that time.
