Homey Hen

While visiting a friend the other day a hen popped into her kitchen for a bit of cat food.  She was well behaved and supposedly does this every day.

I love it! But what does the cat think about this daily visit???? Does the hen leave an egg behind to be polite?
Mary MacADNski: That's a good question. It leaves an egg in it's nesting box, I'd guess. The cats don't seem to mind at all.
I looked at the thumbnail and thought " that looks like a chicken!" By jove it is! Made me smile Marysmile
Mary MacADNski: It was hilarious, Bill, the last thing I'd ever expected.

LOL! What does the cat make of this, Mary? I hope the hen does not get up to any "fowl play" smile
Mary MacADNski: I don't think the cats mind. One was wondering around in the kitchen while I was there. The hen came in, ate a bit of cat food and went back out. - now fowl play.

Now that makes me smile
Mary MacADNski: It was a surprise for me. They usually hang out in the yard and on the porch but this one has a better idea.

Funny!

Mary has 2 cats that think they are human.

Mary's friend has a hen that thinks it is a cat.

What next?
Mary MacADNski: Keep tuned, Ray. You'll never be bored.
