A very pretty mix of colors. Love the accents provided by the red petals.
Mary MacADNski: I planted a couple of sweet pea seeds and they could have come up the same purple colours as the bachelor buttons. I'm glad for the red.

Induces a big smile, Mary.
Really like that big, rust-coloured, flower in the middle, as well.
Mary MacADNski: Thought you might like that piece of rust. It's a homemade sundial that works - until the flowers get this high.

A taste of Color is as good as honey any day, Mary. And I really like honey!
The chunk of rust sets this off nicely Mary
I like this combination of flowers and rusty metal, Mary.

Beautiful delicate colours set off by the green grass. The rusty handle makes a good contrast.

Love the colors in this, and the added rust gives me the message that in time the flowers will fade too... so enjoy them now! (I read a lot into photographs!)
Mary MacADNski: Indeed they do fade and all too quickly!

The rusty bit of metal reminds me that man does make a mess of our countryside. Nature seems to be doing its bit to return this to the natural elements that it once was.
Mary MacADNski: I have rusty metal pieces throughout my garden - some great pieces too. This is a homemade sundial that works until the flowers are too high as they are now.
Very darned pretty. smile
